Children's book author, Shari Lyle-Soffe, will entertain your class with a fun reading of one of the stories from her "Rooter and Snuffle" series, and show samples of her poems and puzzles published in major children's magazines. 
Children ages 4 to 8 will learn about the raccoon characters in her three book series and learn information about real raccoons and protecting wildlife. She will also answer questions about how she came to write these stories, and show the pen and ink drawings done by the illustrator, Kevin Scott Collier.
A school presentation takes 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.
